Why I Chose NuCanoe
I had a fiberglass skiff from Carsten Industries for duck hunting. It worked fine for that application, but that was all it was useful for. I saw Anthony's Frontier, and immediately knew that it was the ideal watercraft I was looking for to fill multiple roles on the water. Pleasure, fishing, and hunting. No other craft I had previously looked at filled all three roles.

What I Like Best
My favorite feature of my Frontier is the stability. To be able to stand and cast, reel in fish, paddle, direct my hunting dog, toss decoys, etc. is simply an option that is not available from anyone else. That feature, among numerous others, is what sold me on the superiority of the NuCanoe Frontier.

What's Your Favorite NuCanoe Activity
To date, it is fishing. Being able to stand and fish a frog for bass through heavy cover, set the hook, and reel them all the way back to the boat, all while standing in a "canoe"......is simply awesome.

My Favorite NuCanoe Story
Only one? Hmmm, one reoccurring situation that I enjoy is paddling along next to people fishing either in another "kayak" or from shore and to then stand up and cast. Their surprised expressions always make me smile. Of course, the questions of "what is that?" always follow. Another little moment in time, was my very first time out fishing while standing. While still getting used to the fact of what I was doing, I got a little out of balance and started to tip to the side. With my arms flailing, and my toes trying to find purchase on the edge of the Frontier, and of course my phone in my pocket, thoughts of "I am going in" were ringing through my head, when what do you know.....the Frontier didn't tip over. Scared to death of soaking my phone, and completely amazed at the fact I didn't tip over, I had to sit down and catch my breath. No better way to learn how incredible the stability is, than the averted disaster of losing your phone!
