About Me

I am on the river more than I am not. I love to fly fish and fly fish exclusively any more. I hand tie my own flies and I run my own fishing website. This year, I have started providing fly fishing guide services.

Why I Chose NuCanoe

I saw the fly fishing videos online and I was sold.

What I Like Best

Stability! I love to fly fish. I can stand in my NuCanoe and cast with ease!

Getting Out There

Fly Fishing is my favorite activity in general. NuCanoe just amplifies the my enjoyment of fly fishing. I still love to wade but with my NuCanoe I can have my cake and eat it too! I can anchor and wade targeted sections or just float all the way down.

My Favorite NuCanoe Story

I caught the biggest smallmouth that I have ever caught out of the Kishwaukee River out of my NuCanoe. When I hooked into that fish I knew this was going to be my PR. I would have never been able to access the area of river without my NuCanoe.
