My Favorite NuCanoe Story
I was fishing with my son North of Honeymoon Island when we made a stealth approach on a school ot black dtrums. My nine year old son casted near a marker within the school and bam, we got hit by a 4 feet Cobia. My son had the ride of his life. The drag on the reel and the drag of the frontier helped immensely. The Frontier pivots on a dime with much ease and we were able to rodeo that fish in many directions. One hour later, we had the fish on the side of the boat and we release him with much gratitude. That Cobia draged us around quietly as we felt him troll us along slowly while he was loosing the fight. First larger fish on a Kayak. Nothing else like it.
