About Me
I grew up fishing Galveston bay since I was eight years old. I have been an advocate kayak fishermen for five years now. I enjoy fishing the saltwater marshes and pursuing flounder in Galveston bay complex.
Why I Chose NuCanoe
This is the most versatile kayak I ever seen out on the market today. The ability to change from a solo to a tandem kayak in seconds.
What I Like Best
The stability of the Frontier. Being able to stand up and sight cast for redfish in the saltwater marshes and brackish backwaters is awesome.
After trying out different types of kayaks, I believe the Nucanoe has the best concepts on kayaks.
I get ideas on designing parts or modifying other parts to adapt to my Frontier every time I use my
Nucanoe.
My Favorite NuCanoe Story
Fishing a creek near Lake Livingston with one of my friends for white bass. We launch our kayaks and cruised to our spot. The fishing started off slow that morning but it really picked up late morning. Another boat pulls up to our spot and anchors along the bank. This guy only caught two fish. Meanwhile we are steadily pulling in fish using saltwater lures. We lost count after a two man limit of fish. Continued to fish a little more and the fishing started slowing down again so we decided to pack it up and go home. This will be a trip I will never forget.
